I cannot believe I completely and utterly forgot to make a birthday wish on my birthday. There wasn't any cake, which I don't quite mind, by the way, but god damn it I forgot to wish for the number of As I want for my 'O' levels and my eternal happiness and prosperity and the rest of it god damn it!
As for my holiday resolutions, I resolve not to go out to often, and complete all of my holiday assignments by the third week (har har). I shall also resolve to blog at least once every other day so as to prevent my command of English from plummeting down to deplorability. I shall try.
I don't think I like Orchard road very much. It's pretty far from where I live and I hate crowds. Allow me to repeat myself, I hate crowds. Do you not detest it when people flock together and block every single damn path of yours in sight? Do you not wish to decimate those impertinent herbivores in front of you? Do you not think, how dare they, how dare they impudently breathe the same air and tread the same land as you?
I'm just japing. Half so, I'm serious about not enjoying crowds at all.
Anyhow, back to why Orchard road isn't all that great. There are too little trees, the ERP rates are too high, too much sun, things are too expensive, the food there is too expensive, the ice cream there is nice but too expensive, the bubble tea there is the worst and too expensive, it's hard to find a free seat, and there is seriously too many people. Hence, I only go there on average once a year only because of Irene.
Jeslyn's barbecue on Sunday was rather agreeable, the food delectable. It was nice talking to ex-classmates about weird people and their oddities. Honestly, some of them are genuinely spastic.
The Incentive trip to Sentosa on Monday was quite alright save for the scorching heat and the budget meal. Due to the eternally inadequate budget courtesy of the penny-pinching principal, we only had one meal for the 10-hour trip which originally was to be in a restaurant but ended up as a Subway Oven-roasted Chicken Breast $5.90 Value Meal. Not that I have any violent protests against it, since Subway is one of my favourite fast-food restuarants. Mcdonalds can go to blazes.
Fort Siloso was uninteresting and left us under the mercy of the sun, Images of Singapore was awesome because it was air conditioned throughout the gallery, the Sky Tower was a total bore, the Luge was fun but too short, I had to hold up a slipper which my friend dropped early on all the time I was on the Skyride, the plot for Songs of the Sea was rather lame but I liked the lasers and fireballs.
Vanessa's barbecue was on Tuesday. The satay and seafood needed a lot of time to cook so thank god for potato chips and mars bars. The water bombs were scary. Some didn't care that they were in normal clothing and jumped into the pool and swam in it, much to the exasperation of the security guards.
On Wednesday there was a Social Studies class but I didn't go. I did for the Thursday Social Studies/Geography class, though. For lunch I had my first meal at BBQ Chicken. The food was very gratifying but the waiting time lamentable. Nevertheless, it's a place I'll revisit.
Thus ends abruptly my recount for the previous days. Hurray, it's the longest post I've had for a long time. Hallelujah!
Orchard bubble tea = fail.

Never, ever buy bubble tea from Sweettalk at Orchard. It's atrocious. You might as well be drinking tap water from the kitchen sink. The Chocolate Milk Tea was horrible. It was a cross between cat shit and bitter gourd. Or something along those lines.
Anyway, my point was that it was really diluted and very oddly, had brown bits in it that tasted bitter. The drink is a total failure. I'll never patronise any bubble tea shop in Orchard ever again, I promise. You shouldn't either.

It completely and utterly slipped my mind, I having to write the question numbers for my 'O' Level Chinese Paper 1, that is. Considering how it is a major national examination, that is most unsettling. It might have been for the greater good that they used English along with Chinese as a medium of instruction for the front page. It perturbs me so, that I, along with several others, might well be penalised heavily for this damning lapse of memory. We, the forsaken ones, are told that we may only pray or hope, but such ineffectual acts I blatantly refuse to rely solely upon.
Thank you Gina and Jingjing for the birthday presents, they were perfectly delightful and your kind efforts shall be appreciated tremendously for ever. The very best of luck for your Biology SPA!
